NBA DFS: FanDuel Minute – 1/13/16

Kyle Vo, DraftPros’ Senior NBA Analyst, provides his favorite NBA DFS plays at each position ahead of his Daily Podcast at 5:00 EST/4:00 CST at DraftPros.com. These plays are for Wednesday, January 13th’s ten game slate:

PG

Tyreke Evans (5 Star Rating/36.72 FD Proj. pts) – Tyreke Evans has been a constant write up and that’s because the upside is much too high for his current price. He offers triple double upside on any given night and especially on nights against fast paced teams like the Kings.

Ricky Rubio (2 Star Rating/30.51 FD Proj. pts) – Ricky Rubio is a lot like Evans in that he offers immense upside as these guys do it all for their teams. Rubio gets a great opportunity to show off his upside tonight in a very fast paced game against one of the worst defenses in the league, the Houston Rockets.

Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley #0.

SG

Giannis Antetenkounmpo (4 Star Rating/32.07 FD Proj. pts) – Coming off of a huge game, Giannis Antetokounmpo has the same upside tonight in a great matchup against the fast paced Wizards. The Wizards are also the worst team in the league at defending opposing SFs so the play makes for a homerun on paper.

Avery Bradley (5 Star Rating/26.13 FD Proj. pts) – Avery Bradley has struggled since coming back from his injury, but the encouraging sign is that he has saw nearly 40 minutes in both games. Both games were tough matchups and I am willing to bet he has a good game in a good matchup tonight. The price is too low.

SF

Khris Middleton (4 Star Rating/31.23 FD Proj. pts) – Khris Middleton has been huge for the Bucks recently and deservingly playing nearly 40 minutes a game. He gets a dream matchup here tonight as the Bucks travel to Washington to face one of the fastest paced teams in the league that struggle against opposing SGs.

Andrew Wiggins (4 Star Rating/28.69 FD Proj. pts) – Andrew Wiggins has quietly been an elite scorer this season and has been playing great basketball recently with three straight 30 FanDuel point games. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Rockets and James “what is defense” Harden.

RYAN ANDERSON (33).

PF

Ryan Anderson (3 Star Rating/22.57 FD Proj. pts)/Anthony Davis (4 Star Rating/44.47 FD Proj. pts) – Whichever guy gets the start here will make for a great play, as the Kings are a terrible defensive team all around. This will depend on whether Anthony Davis is good to go for tonight and that would be the preferable play as Davis loves to play against DeMarcus Cousins, who he has had some great games against.

Paul Millsap (4 Star Rating/37.88 FD Proj. pts) – Mr. Consistent is a better name for Paul Millsap, as he has been so good to us fantasy players this year. The matchup could hardly get better tonight against the Hornets, who have really struggled against opposing power forwards this year.

C

Robin Lopez (5 Star Rating/26.24 FD Proj. pts) – Robin Lopez has finally been seeing big minutes for the Knicks and that should continue tonight to help contain his brother Brook. Robin had a good game the last time he and his brother faced off, and Brook has been a huge reason Brooklyn is giving up the most FanDuel points in the league to opposing centers. The price is still too low if Robin Is going to continue to see huge minutes.

DeMarcus Cousins (3 Star Rating/43.53 FD Proj. pts) – Like I mentioned above, the two former Kentucky Wildcat bigs love facing off against each other and Coach Calipari is usually at these games. Not only is the narrative there, but the matchup is as well, as the Pelicans have been having major issues against centers this year, allowing the fourth most FanDuel points to the position.
